The Bear Uniform
The Uniform Code:
The class "A" uniform should be worn to all den and pack meetings and all scouting events unless told otherwise. Your scout should arrive to camp outs wearing his class "A" and it should be worn to all Scout Sunday Service events. Your son should/will be encouraged to wear his uniform appropriately. The shirt should always be tucked in and orderly. He should understand the importance of representing the entire Boy Scout Organization while in uniform.
Required:
- Shirt (Long or Short Sleeve) *
- Neckerchief
- Slide with appropreiate patches
- Hat
- Belt / Appropreiate Blet Buckel (Tiger, Wolf / Bear, Webelos)
- Rank Book
* Tiger through Bear and even 1st year Webelos can wear the blue shirt. Get it big enough that it will last a few years.
Optional:
- Pants or Shorts **
- Socks
- Class B T-shirt
** Navy blue school shorts can be wron for ranks Tiger to Bear and 1st year Webelos. Olive green shorts for Webelos 2.
Each Year:
- Neckerchief
- Slide.
- New rank book
Patches You'll need to Buy
- Scout Emblem (above left pocket)
- Council Patch (top left shoulder)
- Pack Numbers (under council patch left shoulder)
- Flag comes with the shirt
- Den Number (under flag right shoulder)

Patches You don't need to Buy
Any Rank Advancement Badge or Patch that your boy earns will be awarded (at no cost) during the Monthly Pack Meetings. You will need to sew them on, but the patches are provided.
Where to Purchase Items
Items can be purchased at the Scout Shop or online. Below is the address to the Scout Shop in our area. You can also find good deals on eBay and Amazon.
We can't do your whole shopping, but if you forgot something please let us know a week before the monthly pack meeting. Someone from the pack makes a trip to the Scout Shop to pick up the monthly advancments. If you need a patch or two - we might be able to save you a trip and pick them up for you at our cost. You are also welcome to order any needed items online or however you like.
